SUPPORT AT HOME FOR YOUR LOVED ONE
|
We are all about providing compassionate support at what is a very difficult and stressful time.
Our volunteers visit usually once a week to sit and chat, offer a listening ear, maybe help with some paperwork or perhaps go out for a coffee or a visit to the moor. Importantly this can allow the main carer some valuable respite from their 24/7 duties in the knowledge that their loved one has been left in a safe pair of hands.
Rest assured, our volunteers are screened, DBS checked and fully trained.
Our Safeguarding and other documents are available in Policy Documents.

Words are inadequate to describe our wonderful volunteer’s true value. Her support during the Covid crisis was invaluable, especially with the regular phone calls and sits in the garden.
When Dorothy's face lights up when she arrives, we know we have a true gem and a committed supportive friend. Thankyou BMCN
Thank you so much for all the help and friendship you gave to (R) and to me since (R) went blind. I know how much he enjoyed your company and the freedom that you helped him enjoy. Please find enclosed a cheque to help support your wonderful organisation. With many many thanks
Thank you for your offer of kindness and help during the illness of my brother.
