TRAINING with BMCN
|
At BMCN we recognise the importance of ensuring our volunteers
are provided with appropriate training to support them in their
volunteering work. Training helps to increase confidence, clarify
our roles, provide opportunities to discuss challenges we may
come across and to reflect on our learning development so that
we can deliver the best possible support. We seek to actively
contribute to our local communities by making a real difference
in the lives of those living with a life-limiting condition or those
approaching end of life, in their own homes. We also aim to make
a difference in the lives of their partners and wider families.
|
|
At BMCN we provide a range of training modules for our volunteers, either online or face to face.
|
|
ONLINE - SAFEGUARDING.
Safeguarding is an integral part of volunteering and this training is
both mandatory and ongoing. Although we are are a non-denominational charitable organisation, we are able to benefit from
the Church of England’s Safeguarding Training Programme.
